Divorce: Anita Okoye demands 7.8million naira monthly.

Anita Okoye, the estranged wife of Nigerian music star Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), has demanded, 15,000 dollars, N7.8million naira monthly as spousal support.⁣ This is part of the demands she made in the petition she filed before an Abuja High Court.⁣⁣ “Payment of a monthly maintenance sum of $15,000.00 (N7.8m) for the general welfare, education and health of the three children of the union who are presently in schools in the United States of America until they are of age,” part of the document read.⁣ Recall that a divorce petition filed by Anita at the Federal High Court, Abuja leaked on the internet.  She also advised her now estranged husband in the legal document to challenge the petition if he feels disgruntled.⁣ Anita first sparked divorce rumours in April when it was reported that she relocated with their three children to the United States of America.⁣ Anita and Paul who were university sweethearts got married in 2014 in a very flamboyant wedding ceremony held in Port...

South West paid over 3billion naira to Bandits- Gani Adams.

                    Gani Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams has expressed that victims of kidnapping in the south-west region lost over 3 billion naira paid as ransom, within the last four years. Adams stated this on Thursday, during a conference organised by the south-west security stakeholders group (SSSG),  in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Noting that insecurity in the region has reached an alarming dimension, Adams stated that the group was formed to address security challenges in the south-west. FG close to agreement with Twitter - Layi Mohammed.

           Nigeria  Information Minister. President Buhari meets with Service Chiefs.

President Buhari is presently meeting with Service Chiefs in Abuja. The Agenda on the table will no doubt be  concern about security challenges. Many people, religious leaders and bodies have been calling on the government to rejig its security apparatus to stem insecurity in the country. The National Executive Council of the Senior Civil Servants Association of Nigeria at its just concluded meeting in Lagos called on the federal government to address insecurity in the country.

2023: APC denies zoning presidency to the South.

The caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, has refuted media reports that the party has zoned the presidency to the southern part of the country ahead of the 2023 poll. Buni  stated said that there was no iota of truth in the speculation making the rounds in a section of the media. The report in an online medium indicated that the Buni-led caretaker committee had zoned the President to the South,  Vice President  to the North, Senate President (South) and Deputy Senate President (North). Others include House of Representatives Speaker (North) and Deputy Speaker (South)
