TCAN set to hold 2025 Transportation Summit in Lagos, as Industry experts express willingness to attend.

The Transportation Correspondents Association of Nigeria (TCAN) is set to hold its 2025 Transportation Summit, an annual event that provides a platform for stakeholders’ interaction on pertinent issues affecting the nations transportation sector.  According to a statement released by the TCAN Transport Summit Organising  Committee Secretary,  Temitope Adebayo, this would be the second edition of the summit, which was kick-started last year amidst excitement and endorsement from stakeholders.  According to the statement, "Following the success of the maiden edition in 2024, the association has concluded plans for this year’s edition with the theme, “Driving the Transport Logistics Value Chains for Economic Growth”. LASWA GM honoured with Integrity Man of the year.

The General Manager of Lagos State WaterWays Authority, (LASWA) Mr. Oluwadamilola Emmanuel, has being honoured with the  Man of Integrity of the Year Award 2025 by the Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ) Mr. OluwaDamilola Emmanuel receiving the award. According to the Association, the  esteemed recognition celebrates his outstanding dedication to transparent leadership, ethical governance, and his relentless efforts in transforming inland water transportation in Lagos State. The award also underscores Mr. Emmanuel’s unwavering commitment to public service, innovation, and his role in promoting safety, sustainability, and integrity within Nigeria’s maritime sector.
