Cleric Calls For Stoppage Of Isreali -Palestanian War

By Fidelis Ugbomeh. : Concerned about the increasing number of deaths snd injuries recorded during the ongoing Israeli -Palestinian war, General Overseer Christ Tebanacle Apostolic Church, Oworoshoki, Ojo Oluwasegun has called on both countries to exercise restraint and allow peace to reign. FUEL SUBSIDY: Clerics Seek For Divine Intervention To Reduce Hardship

Worried about the aftermath of the fuel subsidy removal the General Overseer Christ Apostolic Church Oworonshoki, Pastor Ojo Oluwasegun, has prayed for divine intervention to guide our leaders towards introducing measures that will ameliorate the present hardship. Concern Freight Forwarders kick against activities of Terminal Operators.

FIDELIS UGBOMEH A group under the aegis of Association of Concerned Freight Forwarders and Transporters has rejected the approval granted terminal operators and the shipping companies by the Nigerian Shippers' Council, NSC to increase their Storage and other charges at the nation's seaport from October 15, this year.          Police Has No Right To Search Cell Phonez-AIG Ali FIDELIS UGBOMEH The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2_ Alhaji Mohammed Ari Ali has said that the police has no right to demand and search phones of private individuals. Ali who made this known recently during at visit to headquarters of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders, (NAGAFF) in Lagos however pointed out that this can only be done when there is a defined problem with the phone. Regarding the request for clearing documents from truck drivers after exiting the port gates by the police and allegation of collecting bribes from drivers returning empty containers at mile 2 area of Lagos, the AIG promised to liase with AIG Marine with a view to nip the acts in the bud. Maritime Sector: Fastest Growing In Africa-Jamoh  Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Dr Bashir Jamoh, OFR has described the country’s maritime sector as one of the fastest growing on the African continent. He stated this recently during an interactive session with Senate Committee on Marine Transport with Chief Executive Officers of Agencies of Government in the Nation’s maritime sector,  The DG noted that the Agency has embraced collaboration and peer review exercises with other MARADs  on the African continent and globally. “We regularly undertake peer review exercises amongst maritime Administrations not just on the African continent, but globally.
