Rosemary Adigwe Urges NIMA Contestants In Ongoing Popularity Contest not to loose hope

Rosemary Uchechi Adigwe, a.k.a ROSSY has urged contestants competing in the ongoing Popularity Contest of NIMA Reality TV Show not to give up even though they didn’t make top 10 List in Week 1 Result that was just released.

In this media chat with Platform Reporters, ROSSY expresses optimism for the contest, saying it’s till open to all contestants to qualify because out of 3 weeks, only 1 week has just gone by. The 20 years old upcoming actress says that remaining in top 10 list on weekly basis is a strategy she has adopted to ensure she qualifies as a housemate at the end of the 3 weeks.  Enjoy the interview excerpts: 

PLATFORM REPORTERS: What’s your full name and your stage name?

ROSSY: Am Rosemary Uchechi Adigwe by name, and stage name is Rossy.

PLATFORM REPORTERS: What’s your State of Origin and how old are you now?

ROSSY: Am from Atani, Ogbaru Local Government Area in anambra state. I’m 20 years old.

PLATFORM REPORTERS: Tell us about your education qualification and course of study if a graduate or undergraduate.

ROSSY: I have O Level currently, my dream course is Theatre Art and am still an undergraduate. 

PLATFORM REPORTERS: How do you feel when you saw your name on the third spot in the Week 1 Voting Result that was released Monday morning?

ROSSY: I felt so good, honestly I wasn’t expecting it that soon but it came and it was the happiest moment for me. 

PLATFORM REPORTERS:  How easy or hard has it been for you campaigning for votes from your fans in the past one week?

ROSSY: it was never difficult for me, at first I thought it’s gonna be difficult but it came out to be easier.

PLATFORM REPORTERS: What’s your advice to other contestants who didn’t make top 10 in week 1 and are probably feeling discouraged already?

ROSSY: Never to give up, it’s a simple sentence with a large meaning, I hope they understand. 

PLATFORM REPORTERS:  As a NIMA Contestant, what is your talent and what vibes are you coming to NIMA House with if you eventually qualify as a housemate?


ROSSY: I don’t really know what to say but, a lot of drama, lots of good vibes. Am sure NIMA will be proud of me! 

PLATFORM REPORTERS: Tell us about your current occupation, what are you doing currently to earn a living?

ROSSY: I am a movie script supervisor, a writer and actress.

PLATFORM REPORTERS: How prepared are you for this week 2 Voting Campaign. You know other contestants already feel challenged. Are you going to fight hard to overtake the two persons ahead of you or you just want to retain your position?

ROSSY: Hmmm! Everybody always wish to be among the top in any game.  infact, they always want to be the top 1. So, I really wish to overtake by God’s grace but if I don’t, I pray I always remain one of the Top.

PLATFORM REPORTERS: Finally, What’s your message to your fans who are voting for you and are hoping to see you in the NIMA House?

PenCom urges Lagos State Governor to extend periodic pension increase to retirees under CPS, as Sanwoolu welcomes the idea.

The National Pension Commission (PenCom)  has called on  the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to extend periodic pension increases currently enjoyed by Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS) retirees to those under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) to boost their monthly pensions.  The Director General of PenCom, Ms. Omolola Oloworaran, made the request during a courtesy visit to Governor Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos State Government House on 7 May 2025. The visit was to present the report of PenCom’s 2024 routine inspection of the Lagos State Pension Commission (LASPEC) and to thank the Governor for confirming his participation as Special Guest at the Pension Industry Leadership Retreat starting 8 May 2025. PENCOM pledges to see that Lagos State pays CPS retirees.

Director General of National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran has pledged that the Commission will fast track and work towards Lagos State government paying retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme what is due to them like their federal counterparts. She made the pledge at a media workshop in Lagos for journalists.
