Commissioner of Police Western Command OLANREWAJU OLAWALE ISHOLA , Calls for peaceful Sallah Celebration, as he felicitates with ports stakeholders.

The Commissioner of Police Ports Authority Police (Western) Command, CP Olanrewaju Olawale Ishola psc+ mnips on behalf of officers and men of the command, felicitates stakeholders and the business community especially the Muslim umma, on the occasion of the 2024  EID-EL-KABIR celebration.

A statement from the office of the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Isaac Hundeyin said the Commissioner assures
adequate security around the nation's ports during and after the celebration as enough human, material and operational assets have been strategically deployed for adequate coverage of the Western Ports Area of responsibility which include the Apapa Port, Tincan island port, Lekki Deep-Sea port and other lighter terminals.

The Area Commander, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and other specialized units like the Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit (EOD) and the canine (K9) unit have strategically deployed all crime prevention assets within thier disposal while thier men remain on red alert. 
The Ports police marine department have also been directed to properly patrol the ports perimeters to avoid any incursion through the water waterways.

The CP enjoins all to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice, peace and love which the season is centered on while everyone remains vigilant and report any untoward incident or suspicious activity around them to the nearest police station.

Association of Senior Civil Servants affirms Comrade Shehu Mohammed as National President.

In a Press Statement issued in Abuja today, (1st March, 2025), the ASCSN Secretary-General, Comrade Joshua Apebo emphasized that Comrade Shehu Mohammed was elected the National President of the Union on Monday 12th August 2024 with other members of the Central Working Committee (CWC) during the 5th Quadrennial National Delegates Conference of the Association held at Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
