Parents task to counsel their children regularly.... Prophet Timothy Adeosun.

By: Afolabi Oyekunle.

Children are property that belong to God, and it is the task of parents to counsel them regularly towards living rightfully.

This is coming from Prophet Timothy Taiwo Adeosun, of The Redeemed People's of the Lord God's Chosen Church, off Tarmac Road, Sango-Otta, Ogun State at this year Children Harvest on Sunday 2nd of June, 2024.

Prophet Adeosun said parents that fail to teach their children in the ways of the Lord, and allow them to be criminals, prostitutes and a burden to the society are guilty before God and will answer to their negligence.

He observed that many children and youths today are living wayward lives not pleasing to God as many are following the bad habits on the social media.

The man of God said parents are caretakers of their children and should daily monitor their activities and correct them where necessary, observing that many children are left to leave careless lives

Also speaking in the same vein, Evangelist Serah Adeosun, the wife of the Prophet said any child  taught the right character and good ways of live from childhood will grow up in the right direction.

Evangelist Adeosun said children should be taught the words of God from when they start to know the good from the bad and not when they grow up.

The children anniversary featured bible recitation, drama, and the singing of the new national anthem, while the church choir rendered good music.

A sermon with the Theme, God's vessel was delivered by one of the children.

Many churches on Sunday 2nd June also have their children harvest. May 27th is observed as children's day in Nigeria.
