New Month of July, Prophet Taiwo Adeosun rains prayers on Nigerians.

This new month of July has been described as unique among the months in the year. Renowned Man of God,Prophet Timothy Adeosun said the month is a covenant one for all people who believe in God and the power of prayer.

Prophet Adeosun of The Redeemed People's of the Lord God's Chosen Church off Tarmac Road, Sango-Otta, Ogun State in his usual characteristic of praying for the people and Nigeria very early in the morning today rained prophetic prayers on every Nigerian.

He prayed for mercy for the people, all round protection and deliverance for those in bondage, sickness or hardship, assuring them that the God of possibility will visit them in their situations.

Prophet Adeosun called on the people to rededicate their lives to God, have faith in him and refrain from sins.

The Man of God also prayed to God to intervene by His Mighty Hand concerning Nigeria and remove the pains and hardship the people are passing through.

He used the occasion to invite all and sundry to the monthly 3 days fasting and prayer meeting of the church holding at the Mountain of "Isoro Mitan' my battle is finished, starting from Wednesday 3rd of July to Friday 5th of July, with a vigil on Friday.

The delay in the payment of their Pension Arears and other entitlements is worrisome to the Contributory Pensioners in Lagos state, who called on Governor Babajide Sanwoolu to quickly take a decisive action to pay their areas and other entitlements as approved by President Bola Tinubu. PENCOM pledges to see that Lagos State pays CPS retirees.

Director General of National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran has pledged that the Commission will fast track and work towards Lagos State government paying retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme what is due to them like their federal counterparts. She made the pledge at a media workshop in Lagos for journalists. The Director General was surprised when she was asked why the Template for the payment was not released to Lagos State government for the payment of backlog of areas and allowances as approved by the Federal government, which Federal retirees are currently enjoying.
