Tantita Security Service Ltd Empowers Two Best FUPRE Graduating Students With 10million naira.

The management of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) has presented 5 million naira each to the two best graduating students of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) for 2024. 

The presentation took place during the week at the Tantita Head Office in Bendel Estate, Ugborikoko, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State. 
Also the Godfrey Pondi Book Club awarded N2 million each to the two best graduating students.


This gesture was a follow-through on a pledge made by Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited’s Executive Director of Operations and Technical, Capt. Warredi Enisuoh, during the 2024 Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) and The African Child Award ceremony held on July 4, 2024, at the FUPRE University campus.

The event, aimed at promoting academic excellence and honoring individuals and organizations that have contributed significantly to the development of Nigeria’s petroleum industry, saw Tantita’s Managing Director, High Chief (Engr) Kestin Ebimobowei Pondi, and the Executive Director of Operations and Technical, Captain Warredi Enisuoh, being awarded for the contribution to the Oil and Gas sector of the nation's economy.

In accordance with TSSNL’s vision of partnering with educational institutions and corporate bodies to combat crude oil theft, and to train and build Nigerian youths into resourceful and self-sufficient individuals, the company pledged to encourage and empower top graduates as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Speaking at the presentation at Tantita’s head office in Bendel Estate, Ugborikoko, Effurun, the Executive Director of Administration, Dr. Eddy Pondi, emphasized that the cash donations to the two top graduates underscored Tantita’s commitment to promoting education and fostering future leaders in the Nigerian petroleum sector.

Dr. Pondi highlighted that the initiative is part of Tantita’s broader vision to support education and combat poverty and crime by empowering the youth.

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, through its ongoing partnerships and CSR activities, continues to demonstrate its dedication to the socio-economic transformation of the Niger Delta region and the empowerment of its young population.

PenCom urges Lagos State Governor to extend periodic pension increase to retirees under CPS, as Sanwoolu welcomes the idea.

The National Pension Commission (PenCom)  has called on  the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to extend periodic pension increases currently enjoyed by Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS) retirees to those under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) to boost their monthly pensions.  The Director General of PenCom, Ms. Omolola Oloworaran, made the request during a courtesy visit to Governor Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos State Government House on 7 May 2025. PENCOM pledges to see that Lagos State pays CPS retirees.

Director General of National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran has pledged that the Commission will fast track and work towards Lagos State government paying retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme what is due to them like their federal counterparts. She made the pledge at a media workshop in Lagos for journalists.
