Muslims urge to keep to the good virtues and teachings of Ramadan.

By Afolabi Oyekunle.

A Muslim Leader who is also the APC South West Organization Secretary, Honourable Lateef Ibirogba has advised Muslims not to depart from the lessons and attributes of the Ramadan season as they celebrate the Eid-El Fitri,  to mark the end of the Ramadan.

Honourable Lateef Ibirogba gave the advice today while speaking to Focus news as he worshipped with other Muslims faithfuls at Aranse Oluwa Central Mosque in Agbado Oke Odo local council development area of Lagos State.

He said there are many lessons that the Ramadan season teaches Muslims such as desisting from sins, good gesture to humankind, Zakat giving, and the act of obedience to the commandments of Allah

Honourable Lateef Ibirogba said it's out of place for some Muslims to think that it's only in the Ramadan season that they have to keep to these rules.

According to Him, the World would be a better place to live and devoid of crime if the people keep to the commandments of Allah and run away from crime.

In his message, Imam Mifutaudeen Lawal of Aranse Oluwa Mosque, observed that many Muslims immediately after Ramadan normally go back to their old ways of live, returning to sins.

Imam Lawal said Allah is not happy with these type of people, advising them to endeavor to live a life of obedience to the commandments of God.

Imam Lawal addressing the Muslims faithfuls.

He said Islam is a good religion which teaches people on the good ways of live but many choose not to obey its teachings.

According to Imam Lawal it's unfortunate that most of the crime committed in the vicinity are perpetrated by Muslims which does not speak well of the religion.
