Daughter of Former TUC President, Quadri OLALEYE, weds in style.

It is a thing of joy for a couple to get engaged with families and friends in attendance showing their affection and love.  This not only gladdens the heart of the couple but also their families.

So it is for the families of a one time National President of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) and Fobtob, Comrade Quadri OLALEYE who gave the hands of his first daughter Nafisat in marriage to Musa Danjuma, from Kogi state.

It was a well attended wedding reception on Saturday 12th April 2025 at Alarca Hotel, OPIC Estate, in Agbara, Ogun State, with families, friends, and well wishers who turned out in beautiful dresses to celebrate and honour the couple.

It is indeed a marriage blessed from Heaven as the Couple did openly showed affection for each other and promised to live together in love, peace and in the Grace of God.

The Bridegroom Mr. Danjuma, said the marriage has proved that they are meant for each other, while the Bride Nafisat said she found her husband to be accomodating and somebody she could live with it.

Speaking with ForumNews, the Father of the Bride, a one time President of Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, Comrade Quadri OLALEYE expressed his delight seeing his first daughter engaged to her love Danjuma.

Comrade OLALEYE said it was a thing of joy for him to see Nafisat whom he described as an obedient, brilliant and God fearing person got married.

To the people who showed love, attending  the programmes of the marriage, he thanked them from his heart, particularly Union leaders from TUC, FOBTOB, NESTLE and members of the two families.

CPS Pensioners in Lagos state call on Gov. Sanwoolu, to expedite action on the payment of their Benefits.

The delay in the payment of their Pension Arears and other entitlements is worrisome to the Contributory Pensioners in Lagos state, who called on Governor Babajide Sanwoolu to quickly take a decisive action to pay their areas and other entitlements as approved by President Bola Tinubu. PENCOM pledges to see that Lagos State pays CPS retirees.

Director General of National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran has pledged that the Commission will fast track and work towards Lagos State government paying retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme what is due to them like their federal counterparts. She made the pledge at a media workshop in Lagos for journalists.
