Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA Chairman, Mayor Jimoh Isola says welfare of the people is paramount in his agenda.

The Executive-Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo local council development area, (LCDA) Major Abiodun Jimoh Isola(Ejigbadero) has reiterated his interest to see to the upliftment of the people of the area, through infrastructure development, education of the students, welfare, health, caring for the vulnerable, as well as road construction.
Towards this to commemorate his 100 days in office, he will flag of positive programs that will have direct impact in the lives of the people.
Tomorrow Wednesday,17th December, 2025 , he will inaugurate a two-day free medical outreach programme at the council secretariat for all residents.
Among services available during the two days, Wednesday 17th and Thursday,18th December, are hypertension screening, diabetes screening, cervical cancer screening, prostate cancer screening.
Other services are, free drugs,free medical consultation,free eye glasses,free dental screening, blood donation drive and Ilera Eko registration booth.
In addition, health care services in Agbado Oke-Odo council area will receive a boost on the same day, Wednesday, as mayor Isola will perform the presentation of a new ambulance procured by his administration to the public.
The 100 days commemorative activities will be rounded off on Thursday,18th December 2025 at the council secretariat, with the inaugural monthly Renewed Hope Cash Transfer Empowerment Initiative of Isola' s administration, where the council chairman popularly called " The Black Messiah" will present the sum of 100,000 naira each to 300 vulnerable residents of Agbado Oke-Odo in what has been referred to as unprecedented in the history of the council.
" The purpose of any responsible government is to make the people happy always and in fulfillment of this important task, our administration will inaugurate a monthly Renewed Hope Cash Transfer Empowerment Initiative of 30 million naira for vulnerable residents of Agbado Oke-Odo lcda",mayor Isola stated.
" I want to assure all residents that adequate and solid arrangements have been put in place by the council to ensure that we have accurate data base of all beneficiaries of the monthly cash transfer programme to guard against one person receiving the money twice or more while others are not benefiting at all", the council chairman submitted.
He explained further that, for residents to benefit from the monthly cash transfer programme, they must present to the council evidence of their permanent voters card(PVC) and national identification number in Nigeria
Mayor Isola Ejigbadero concluded by assuring all residents of Agbado Oke-Odo lcda that their welfare is of paramount interest to his administration and he will continue to work assiduously towards improving their standard of living in all sectors.
"As a responsive and responsible government that is concerned about the welfare of the governed, our administration has commenced construction work on four major access roads and rehabilitation of one other, all in a bid to make commuting and vehicular movement convenient for the people".
The roads presently under construction are, Iperu-Akesan road in Alaguntan,Iyana Ipaja, Adeleye road, also in Alaguntan,Awonusi and Omisesan roads, and Ogundare road,besides Ile Epo market.
