Creation of states police by the Federal government under the Administration of President Bola Tinubu should be a welcome idea to all and sundry, as it will help in improving security to all nooks and crannies of the country, in particular the communities and rural areas.
This is coming from the Baale of Ilupeju-Oke, in Ifo local government area, Chief Akorede Sunday Afuwape, while speaking with FocusNews on the recent established Police Station, built by the Community, at Iyanacele, in Ilupeju-Oke.
Bale Akorede totally support the concept of the creation of states police by the present administration. He said it's a good development towards protection of lives and property in the country, in particular the rural areas.

Bale Akorede Afuwape said with state police, crime rate will go down as men of the police force will be able to go deep into the communities and the grassroots towards combating crime.
He thanked God Almighty, who was the Alfa and Omega towards the success of the police station at Iyanacele. Bale Akorede Afuwape was also of gratitude to all the Communities leaders, in particular Isokan Central Body and all his Chiefs
In particular, he thanked immensely, Chief Samuel Odeyemi, A.K.A.Baba Cele, for his strong support, financially, materially in making sure the police station is a reality.

On further needs of the Ilupeju Oke community, He appealed to the Ogun state government, to come to the aid of the community in reconstruction of the main road, the Iyanacele main road which he said is in bad condition and always impassable during the rainy season.
According to him, the community has been doing its best to maintain the road, but needs the help of the government to upgrade.
Bale Akorede said if well constructred it could be easily connected to other communities such as Ilepa, Igusi, Egan and Ilogbo.
He also called on the government to build health centres and public schools in the community due to its large population.
The traditional ruler also called for support of the government towards the proposed Mechanic village by NATA.
