Grateful hearts, as C&S members, Bishop David Allen, Wasinmi harvest comes, on Sunday 26th April.

Psalms 136:1. "O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, for his mercy endureth forever.".  Everyday we have many reasons to thank God, individually, and as a body.

It is in line with this that members of The Christ Church of Cherubim and Seraphim, A.K.A. Bishop David Allen, behind Segun Odegbami, in Wasinmi, Oteyi, Ogun state, do celebrate harvest every year to show their appreciation to God, for his love over the church, members and the Leaders. 

This year harvest comes up on Sunday 26th April, 2026, at the same venue, behind Segun Odegbami, in Oteyi, Wasinmi, Ogun state.

The Theme of the Harvest is taken from, Joshua 21vs 45." "Failed Not Ought of Any Good Things".

Speaking on the Harvest, the Chief Host, Venerable (Prophet) Michael Allen said God has shown mercy to the church as it continues to grow, recording miracles, signs and wonders among members. Prophet Michael said it is to show gratuity to God that the Harvest takes place every year.

Venerable Michael said this year harvest from 10.00am in the morning promises to be a great event with different God choosen Musicians on ground and invited great Men and Women of God.



He said it promises to be  a Harvest of blessings, miracles, and signs and wonders for those who come and who believe that the God of  Bishop David
 Allen is still alive .

The Guest preacher of the day is, Prophet Dr. Tunji Oloyede(Baba Apedahun) while the Anniversary Chairman is Evangelist Emmanuel Edunjobi while Lady Evangelist M. Ogunmuyiwa, is the Harvest Secretary.

PenCom urges Lagos State Governor to extend periodic pension increase to retirees under CPS, as Sanwoolu welcomes the idea.

The National Pension Commission (PenCom)  has called on  the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to extend periodic pension increases currently enjoyed by Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS) retirees to those under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) to boost their monthly pensions.  The Director General of PenCom, Ms. Omolola Oloworaran, made the request during a courtesy visit to Governor Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos State Government House on 7 May 2025. The visit was to present the report of PenCom’s 2024 routine inspection of the Lagos State Pension Commission (LASPEC) and to thank the Governor for confirming his participation as Special Guest at the Pension Industry Leadership Retreat starting 8 May 2025. PENCOM pledges to see that Lagos State pays CPS retirees.

Director General of National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran has pledged that the Commission will fast track and work towards Lagos State government paying retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme what is due to them like their federal counterparts. She made the pledge at a media workshop in Lagos for journalists.
