Pastor Adeboye decries Pensioners plight in Nigeria, as CPS Pensioners in Lagos seek divine intervention on their demands from Lagos state government.

The General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has decried the plight of Pensioners in the country saying they are not duly compensated.
He made the remarks yesterday at the Redemption City during a courtesy visit by the chairman, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, contributory Pension scheme, NUPCPS, In Lagos state, Comrade Michael Omisande and his Executives.
Represented by the National Overseer of the Redeemed Church in Nigeria, Pastor Sunday Akande, Pastor Adeboye said the political class is reaping the benefits of the Pensioners who laid the eggs in developing the Nation.
He appreciated the efforts of the Leadership of NUPCPS Lagos State Council and assured them of prayers for accomplishments.
Pastor Adeboye is optimistic that soon, things will change for better and that the Pensioners will live to enjoy the fruits of their Labor.
The National Overseer thanked Comrade Omisande for his donation towards God's projects saying the seed will bring forth in millions into the fold.
Prayers were offered for the sick and success in the task of NUPCPS in Lagos State to get their demands from the Lagos State Government, especially, the Pension increase implementation.
Earlier, Comrade Omisande said the rationale of the visit was to seek for divine intervention on the sorry state of Lagos State Pensioners.
He said while Federal Retirees are enjoying the pension increases, Pensioners in the former capital city are leaning on the promise of Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu to implement same for Lagos State Retirees who are pauparized due to inadequate health care, inability to pay house Rent, Tuition fees for their children and eating unhealthy foods.
