APC Chieftain, Hon. Ibirogba challenges opposition parties to emulate APC in organisation, coordination and respect for rule of law.

All Progressive Congress party, (APC) Chieftain, who is the Organizing Secretary for the party in South-West, Honourable Lateef Ibirogba, has commended the peaceful nature, well coordinated today's APC primaries into the House of Representatives, in the country, in particular in Ekiti state.

Honourable Ibirogba who led a 5-man team to monitor the primary election in Ekiti state commended the aspirants and members of the party for adhering to the rules of law;  the party, and electoral process by  playing  to the rules peacefully.

He said it was a thing of pride that everything went well in the 9 constituencies in Ekiti state.

According to Honourable Ibirogba as it was in Ekiti where everything went smoothly without any rancour or disturbances, reports from all other parts of the country indicate all went peacefully. 

He said this was so because APC  gives priority to due diligence and conduct the party affairs  acording to the Constitution and Electoral law.


Honourable Ibirogba therefore challenged all other opposition parties in the country to emulate APC in conducting their parties affairs. 

He said APC is not happy that the opposition parties are not getting it right, and most of them are in disarray and lack organisation, to offer credible opposition.

Honourable Ibirogba said this is not good enough towards deepen democracy.

He thereby advised the opposition parties to get their acts together in order to offer constructive advice to the ruling party.  

Honourable Ibirogba said the success of today's primary to the House of Representatives within APC shows that the future is bright for the country's democracy.

He prayed that the general  election in 2027 will be like and the country will experience credible, free, and peaceful election.

CPS Pensioners in Lagos state call on Gov. Sanwoolu, to expedite action on the payment of their Benefits.

The delay in the payment of their Pension Arears and other entitlements is worrisome to the Contributory Pensioners in Lagos state, who called on Governor Babajide Sanwoolu to quickly take a decisive action to pay their areas and other entitlements as approved by President Bola Tinubu. PENCOM pledges to see that Lagos State pays CPS retirees.

Director General of National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran has pledged that the Commission will fast track and work towards Lagos State government paying retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme what is due to them like their federal counterparts. She made the pledge at a media workshop in Lagos for journalists.
