APC Chieftain, Hon. Ibirogba, commends party stalwarts for the peaceful presidential primaries in the country.

APC Chieftain, who is the South West Organising Secretary, Honourable Lateef Ibirogba has commended the party members for their peaceful conduct and large turn out during today's  presidential primaries in which they affirmed support for President Bola Tinubu.

He said reports from across the country  indicates a large turn out of APC members  where the primaries took place.

Honourable Ibirogba said the party members through their actions have demonstrated their believe in the Agenda of President Bola Tinubu for the party and the country.

The APC Chieftain who was also in Ekiti state for the House of Representatives and Assembly primaries said  the primary in the state and other states in the SouthWest went peacefully.

He said this was so because APC  gives priority to due diligence and conduct its   affairs  acording to the Constitution and Electoral law.

The party, he said is well structured and believe in the principle of fair play in which all are accommodated hence the success in all the primaries.

He believes that if the presidential election is held today, President Bola Tinubu will emerge clearly as the winner. Honourable Ibirogba therefore called on Nigerians to have hope that with President Bola Tinubu at the helm of affairs, Nigeria is in good hands.

He called on the opposition parties to get their acts together towards offering credible opposition

He said APC is not happy that the opposition parties are not getting it right, and most of them are in disarray and lack organisation, to offer credible opposition.

Honourable Ibirogba said this is not good enough towards deepen democracy.

He thereby advised the opposition parties to get their acts together in order to offer constructive advice to the ruling party.  

Honourable Ibirogba also called on opposition parties in the country to emulate APC in conducting their parties affairs.

CPS Pensioners in Lagos state call on Gov. Sanwoolu, to expedite action on the payment of their Benefits.

The delay in the payment of their Pension Arears and other entitlements is worrisome to the Contributory Pensioners in Lagos state, who called on Governor Babajide Sanwoolu to quickly take a decisive action to pay their areas and other entitlements as approved by President Bola Tinubu. PENCOM pledges to see that Lagos State pays CPS retirees.

Director General of National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran has pledged that the Commission will fast track and work towards Lagos State government paying retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme what is due to them like their federal counterparts. She made the pledge at a media workshop in Lagos for journalists.
