Eid Celebration: Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA Chairman puts smiles on faces of workers; people of the communities, as he doles out largesse.

The people of Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area, staff of the council, community leaders and members, religious institutions, political leaders and members, not forgetting people living with disability are in joyous mood and happy with the Executive Chairman of the council, Mayor Abiodun Jimoh Isola Ejigbadero for reaching out to them with cash gifts, bags of rice, rams and cows as they prepare to celebrate this year's Eid el Kabir festival on Wednesday, 27th and Thursday 28th May 2026.
At the secretariat of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, situated at Oja Oba bus stop, Abule Egba,on Monday25th May, 2026,workers of the council were seen taking possession of their bags of rice, with smile on their faces.
Members of management Staff were given a bag of rice each, while other categories of staff, including non pensionable staff were given a bag of rice to four staff.
Earlier on Friday, 22nd May, over 500 pensionable staff of the council received 30,000 naira Ileya cash bonus each, while over 200 non pensionable staff were given 20,000 naira each,as Ileya cash bonus.
The Ileya largesse was also extended to all religious leaders, both Muslims and Christians across the seven wards of the council ,as the council chairman gifted cash bonuses, rams and cows.
The same kind gesture was also extended to community leaders and members , and also the political class across the seven wards of the council.
Reacting to the Ileya largesse given to staff by Ejigbadero, Branch Chairman of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees(NULGE) , Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Comrade Tajudeen Olowolagba commended the council chairman for his magnanimity towards staff, since his assumption of office last July, adding that he has proven to his detractors that he is workers and people's friendly.
Also commenting on the positive development, the Council Manager, Mrs Fregene Gbemisola on behalf of the workers expressed appreciation to the Chairman.
