Massive turn-out, as APC supporters in Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA declare support for Dr. Hamzat.

It turned out to be a massive show of solidarity as All Progressive Congress (APC) supporters in Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA unanimously pledged their support for the candidacy of Dr. Obafemi Hamzat for the gubernatorial election in Lagos state.

At the party primary held at African Church Model primary school at Kola bustop, in Agbado, hundreds of supporters lined up all with oneccord for the candidacy of Dr. Obafemi Hamzat. According to most of them, they are pleased with his choice and thereby allign with the party decision to field him as the sole candidate.

Addressing the party faithfuls, the Chairman of Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA, Major Jimoh Ishola Ejigbadero, thanked them for trooping out to declare their support for Dr. Obafemi Hamzat as the sole candidate.

The Chairman urged them to continue to be steadfast and show their solidarity during the Gubernatorial election by voting Dr. Hamzat as the next Governor of Lagos state.

He said Dr. Hamzat is the choice of the APC and he will not disappoint and will continue to work for the overall development of Lagos state and the party.

Speaking with FocusNews, the Vice- Chairman of Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA, Honourable Kehinde Shobayo also commended the people for their faith in APC assuring that the party will not let them down.

Honourable Shobayo said Dr. Hamzat has the experience and capacity to continue to move Lagos state forward.

Top APC party stalwarts within Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA were also at the venue of the primary. They also spoke in one accord, pledging their support for Dr. Obafemi Hamzat as the party choice for Gubernatorial candidate.

Already the results of the primary across Lagos state showed that Dr Obafemi Hamzat was widely choosen as the party candidate.

PENCOM pledges to see that Lagos State pays CPS retirees.

Director General of National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran has pledged that the Commission will fast track and work towards Lagos State government paying retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme what is due to them like their federal counterparts. She made the pledge at a media workshop in Lagos for journalists.
