Efforts of the present administration in Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA led by Hon. Jimoh Ejigbadero to ensure a clean environment in the markets, business places, and communities are yielding positive results that the LCDA could be termed the cleanest in Lagos state.
This is coming from the Executive Vice-chairman of the LCDA, Honourable Yusau Adetunji Shobayo who also double as Supervisor for Environment.
Honourable Shobayo while speaking with Focus News said the LCDA is prioritising a clean environment and doing well in ensuring there is no environment hazards as it has seen to regular cleaning of the markets, garages and clearing of refuses in the drainages.
He said prior to the coming of the present administration in the LCDA, the environment was not in good condition.
To ensure a healthy and clean environment, Honourable Shobayo said a task force had been formed to see to the issue of environment, while the LCDA has also keyed to the monthly environment exercise in the state which the people are also participating.
According to him, the LCDA Chairman, Honourable Jimoh Ejigbadero is giving his attention to the environment, by inviting and meeting with stakeholders from time to time to sensitise them on what he wants the environment to look like and warning the people that he will not tolerate any form of dumping of refuses.
According to him, the chairman has also been providing materials and resources to ensure a cleaner environment throughout the LCDA.

"He has been assigning the task on environment issues to me when he came to office before enventually making me the Supervisor for Environment."
Honourable Shobayo assured that as the Supervisor for Environment he will continue to work in tandem with the policies of the LCDA to ensure a cleaner environment.
He appealed to the people of Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA to cultivate the habit of living in healthy environment and prioritise the cleaning of their residences, and work places.
