Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA is committed to a cleaner environment......Hon. Shobayo.

Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area under the Chairman, Honourable Jimoh Ishola Ejigbadero is committed to a cleaner environment and will continue to ensure the people key to the cleanliness policy of the council.

Vice President of the LCDA who is also the Supervisor Councillor the Environment, Honourable Kehinde Shobayo said this during the monthly environmental sanitation in the LCD.

Speaking during the exercise, Hon. Shobayo said the administration of Mayor Abiodun Jimoh Isola Ejigbadero remains committed to environmental sustainability and flood prevention.

He urged residents to embrace daily cleanliness and support the council’s efforts beyond the monthly exercise. According to him, collective action is key to keeping Agbado Oke-Odo Lcda clean, safe and flood-free for all. 

He noted that the presence of KAI officers and the Environmental Task Force will help sustain compliance and keep public spaces clean. 

Hon. Shobayo  who  represented the Executive Chairman, Mayor Abiodun Jimoh Isola Ejigbadero, on the field was joined by the Leader of the House, Hon. Wasiu Aduragbemi, Chief of Staff to the executive chairman,Mr. AbdulRasheed Rabiu, Council Manager ,Mr Osodipe Oladapo who was represented by the Human Resource Officer,Mrs Ogunmoriyele Kofoworola and other management staff, and executives of Nigerian Union Of Local Government Employees (NULGE),KAI officers and members of the Environmental Task Force. 



The team moved through the council secretariat, and Ile Epo market, where the council's Vice Chairman warned traders seriously against carrying out trading activities during the period of the sanitation exercise.

 Refuse evacuated during the exercise was loaded and disposed of with compactors to ensure proper waste management.

CPS Pensioners in Lagos state call on Gov. Sanwoolu, to expedite action on the payment of their Benefits.

The delay in the payment of their Pension Arears and other entitlements is worrisome to the Contributory Pensioners in Lagos state, who called on Governor Babajide Sanwoolu to quickly take a decisive action to pay their areas and other entitlements as approved by President Bola Tinubu. PENCOM pledges to see that Lagos State pays CPS retirees.

Director General of National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran has pledged that the Commission will fast track and work towards Lagos State government paying retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme what is due to them like their federal counterparts. She made the pledge at a media workshop in Lagos for journalists.
