International partnerships took center stage as the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) welcomed a distinguished delegation led by the Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the EU Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS to its headquarters.

An official signing ceremony was followed by a guided site tour of select terminals/jetties and then a closing press briefing to highlight the activities of the day.

The visit provided a vital platform for LASWA leadership, the Ministry of Transport, and partners from the French Development Agency (AFD) to review the impact of the OMI ĖKÓ project and align on future infrastructure goals.

PENCOM pledges to see that Lagos State pays CPS retirees.

Director General of National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran has pledged that the Commission will fast track and work towards Lagos State government paying retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme what is due to them like their federal counterparts. She made the pledge at a media workshop in Lagos for journalists.
