The Nigeria - EU Business Forum has been described as successful with key stakeholders from government, developed institutions conveyed to explore opportunities for sustainable economic growth and investment.
According to Lagos state Waterways Authority ( LASWA) the forum provided a valuable platform to strengthen partnerships, attract investment, and reaffirm Lagos State's commitment to unlocking the immense potential of the blue economy through innovation and strategic collaboration.
LASWA said the major highlight was the presentation by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Blue Economy, Mr. Oluwadamilola Emmanuel, who showcased the transformative vision of the Omi Eko Project—an ambitious initiative set to redefine water transportation in Lagos through modern, safe, efficient, and environmentally sustainable ferry infrastructure.
"The Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) was proud to participate in the Nigeria–EU Business Forum "Together, we are charting a new course for sustainable mobility and economic prosperity on Lagos waterways."
