He revealed that the company has already completed the acquisition of land for the project in Ogun West Senatorial District, paving the way for the commencement of development activities.

According to him, the choice of Ogun State was informed by its investor-friendly policies, conducive business environment, and ongoing infrastructure development, particularly in Ogun West.

He commended the host communities for their warm reception and cooperation, describing the location as ideal for large-scale dairy farming.

“Ogun is the best. We already have a few operations in Ogun State, and this project is a testament to how well we have been received and treated,” he said.

“We are fortunate to have Ogun State as our host, and we are particularly excited about moving into Ogun West, which holds great promise, especially with the critical infrastructure projects taking place in the area.

“For now, we are looking at an initial investment of $250 million, but as we continue to expand, that figure is expected to increase.”

Gumel further disclosed that preparations are underway for the groundbreaking ceremony of the dairy farm, which is expected to take place within the next two to three weeks.

The investment is expected to enhance local dairy production, create jobs, stimulate economic activities in Ogun West, and further reinforce Ogun State’s growing reputation as a preferred destination for local and foreign investors.
