In line with his administration's vision of building a more responsive and efficient local government, the Executive Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. Abiodun Jimoh Isola (Ejigbadero), today performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new Council Secretariat.

.The project marks another significant milestone in the administration's commitment to strengthening institutional capacity and creating a modern administrative edifice that will enhance the overall output, productivity, and efficiency of the Council's workforce.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Ejigbadero stated that the new Secretariat is more than a physical structure; it is a strategic investment in the future of the Council and a demonstration of his administration's resolve to provide an enabling environment for effective governance. 

He noted that improved infrastructure translates to improved service delivery, faster administrative processes, and better experiences for residents seeking government services.

The proposed Secretariat will feature modern office spaces and facilities designed to support seamless coordination of government activities, promote collaboration among departments, and improve the welfare and productivity of members of staff.

As work begins on the project, the administration remains steadfast in its resolve to deliver sustainable infrastructure that will serve the people of Agbado/Oke-Odo for generations, while reinforcing its vision of accountable, people-centred, and development-driven governance.

Work in progress by the LSG to pay CPS Pensioners their benefits.

The delay in the payment of their Pension Arears and other entitlements is worrisome to the Contributory Pensioners in Lagos state, who called on Governor Babajide Sanwoolu to quickly take a decisive action to pay their areas and other entitlements as approved by President Bola Tinubu.
