Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA Chairman, Ejigbadero empowers farmers with fertilizers.

Agriculture remains the backbone of every thriving society, and empowering farmers is one of the most effective ways to guarantee food security and economic prosperity.

In furtherance of this commitment, the Executive Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. Abiodun Jimoh Isola (Ejigbadero), earlier today sponsored the distribution of fertilizers to members of the Association of All Farmers of Nigeria (AFAN), Agbado/Oke-Odo Chapter.

The fertilizer presentation, fully sponsored by the Executive Chairman, underscores his administration's unwavering commitment to empowering farmers, enhancing crop yields, and promoting sustainable agricultural development across the council area.

Representing the Executive Chairman at the presentation was the Vice Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. Kehinde Yusau Shobayo, who reaffirmed the administration's resolve to continue implementing people-oriented initiatives that improve the livelihoods of farmers, boost agricultural productivity, and strengthen the local economy.

Also in attendance were the Supervisor for Agriculture and Rural Development, Hon. Obayomi Titilola Ilesemi, the Head of the Department, Mrs. Adejoro Josephine Funmilayo, as well as executives and members of AFAN, ably led by its Chairman, Hon. Adewale Okubanjo, who expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Chairman for the timely intervention and his consistent support for the agricultural sector.

The initiative reflects the Ejigbadero administration's belief that investing in farmers is an investment in food security, sustainable economic growth, and the overall prosperity of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA.

PENCOM pledges to see that Lagos State pays CPS retirees.

Director General of National Pension Commission, Ms Omolola Oloworaran has pledged that the Commission will fast track and work towards Lagos State government paying retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme what is due to them like their federal counterparts. She made the pledge at a media workshop in Lagos for journalists.
