Dissatisfied with the non-payment of their Pension Arears as approved by the Federal government for Pensioners under the Contributory Pension Scheme, Lagos State Pensioners have given the Lagos state government up till the end of March 2026 to pay them or face Massive protests. The Lagos State Chairman, Nigeria Union of Pensioners Contributory Pension Scheme ( NUPCPS) Comrade Michael Omisande, made the stand of the Pensioners known at the Open Congress Day of the Pensioners to mark the nineth year of the establishment and affliation of it to the Nigeria Union of Pensioners.
